I did not find out until after the return window expired. This was not a good deal. I bought one unit. So I spent 220% of the price of one unit to get a functional unit. I am done doing business with this vendor and you should be done as well. It froze consistantly and I returned it for 80% credit. I bought two more to replace that one and one of them is bad.
Works great. Tried the FM option today, and that works great.
Impressed with sound. I've got a bunch of old songs I never listen to on SD card, and sounds good through cars radio.
I bought this about a week ago, after having owned a nuvi 350. I downloaded latest software, and problem went away.
Overall, I'm very happy with the Nuvi 750. Took a minute or so to acquire position first time out of the box, but after that was much quicker (5 to 10 secs).
Did have some problems with voice directions after a couple of days, just stopped working.
I would say buy this one you will like it. This is a great gps unit it has alot of cool features.
But over all it is pretty decent. Other than it thinks that railroad tracks are roads I liked it. Is there a way that I can help correct some of the mistakes it has in the mapping data base. Several times it has wanted me to turn down railroad tracks for my route. Plus it doesn't have all the roads in there. It doesn't know where my friends place is and he has lived there for 30 years.
Nuvi 750 is a great GPS device, but only expect it to last one year. A web search will show that this is a common problem with the 750. The most understated problem in this site's review of the Garmin Nuvi 750 is that it has a serious battery problem. After 12-18 months the battery will no longer take or hold a charge.
